Sedamdesetdrugog dana sve je bilo rešeno. Moja zemlja je manirom iskusne udavače, posle kraćeg snebivanja izrekla sudbonosno "DA". Da bi sam taj čin bio u duhu tradicije i zakona, bila su prisutna i dva svedoka - iz Rusije i Finske. Rodbina sa "njegove" strane se svojski trudila oko pripreme ove ceremonije, te je više od dva meseca bukvalno letela na sve strane. Mladina rodbina, iako je gorela od nestrpljenja da se to već jednom završi, nije krila suze zbog činjenice da je, suprotno običajima , ovaj put, mlada bila u crnom. Krivac za to je sam mladoženja koji je zbog nepreciznih i zastarelih podataka, skoro potpuno nenamerno, u crno zavio mladu. Za vreme pripremanja svadbe, mladoženja i njegovi pajtaši su iskoristili takvu količinu pirotehnike kakva ovde nije viđena u protekla dva milenijuma. Zbog toga će svatovi biti zapamćeni u Evropi, a ni mladini im to sigurno neće zaboraviti. Ovaj događaj je bio i medijski izvanredno pokriven. Zbog količine i raznovrsnosti informativnih đakonija mnogima je pozlilo, pa su se "njegovi" pobrinuli da se domaci mediji izbace iz menija, plašeći se da zvanice ne bi mogle da svare toliko različitih informacija. Potom se serviralo samo jedno jelo, više puta podgrevano, spremljeno od strane pravih majstora medijske kuhinje. O muzici su se starali profesionalci. Bend iz Brisela, koji je već svirao na ovim prostorima, ovaj put prevazišao je i svoje mladalačke uzore. Momci su tako "prašili" da se sve dimilo, a ritam se mogao čuti, videti i osetiti. Posledica toga je da su mnoge žene, deca i starci popadali mrtvi - od umora. Komšije su se na to malo bunile, ali su , uvažavajući demokratske promene na svetskoj muzičkoj sceni, ubrzo podržale nastup benda. Milosrdni muzički anđeli iz Brisela za uzvrat su obećali svakom po deo svadbenog kolača. Na kraju, želim da se zahvalim i svima onima koji su omogućili da se sve ovo dogodi baš kod nas. Iz objektivnih razloga, na žalost ,nismo u mogućnosti da pravom merom uzvratimo na svu pažnju kojom ste nas neštedimice, danonoćno obasipali. Ipak ne gubite nadu. Ako ima Boga on će vam sigurno naplatiti sav taj trud. Saša Živić |
On the seventy second day everything was settled. My country said the fateful "I do", after a short period of resistence, in the true manner of an experienced debutante. To make the act comply to tradition there were two witnesses - one from Russia and one from Finland. "His" family tried their best to prepare the ceremony so they literally flew all around for two months. The family of the bride could not hide the tears to see the bride dressed in black, contrary to the customs, although they were burning with impatience to get it over with. The groom himself was to blame as he almost completely accidentally dressed the bride in black because of the incorrect and dated intelligence information. While preparing for the wedding the groom and his mates used up such quantities of fireworks that this country has not seen in the last two millennia. This will make the wedding stick in the memory of Europe and the bride's family will not forget it in a hurry. The event had an excellent media coverage. Many were sick due to the quantity and the variety of informative menu, so "his side" made sure that the local media were taken off the table as they were afraid that the guests would not be able to digest so much varied information. Thereafter only one dish was being served, reheated many times, prepared by the true masters of the media kitchen. Music was provided by the professionals. The band from Brussels, which has already provided services in this area, surpassed themselves this time. The boys rocked and the rhythm could be heard, seen and felt. The result was that many women, children and old folks dropped dead - from exhaustion. The neighbours protested a bit but they soon started supporting the gigs of the band respecting the democratic changes on the world music scene. Merciful music angels from Brussels promissed them all pieces of the wedding cake in return. Finally I would like to thank all the people who made it possible for the event to take place here. Unfortunately we are not able to respond adequately to all the attention that you showered on us day in day out. Still, do not despair, if there is God he will surely repay you for all your efforts.
