Uzastopnim i besomučnim raketiranjem Naftagasove Rafinerije na levoj obali Dunava grad Novi Sad i okolina našli su se na samoj ivici ekološke katastrofe! Radi se o primarnoj i sekundarnom efektu. Primarni efekat su veoma dobro osetili mnogi stanovnici Novog Sada koji su neposredno posle eksplozije i izbijanja ogromnog požara osetili disajne probleme uzrokovane gustim crnim dimom koji se zlokobno nadvio nad Novim Sadom. Sekundarni - naknadni efekat je mnogo opasnije i dugoročnije prirode. Naime, granatiranjem postrojenja u Rafineriji došlo je do izlivanja otrovnih materija i tečnosti iz Naftagasovih rezervoara direktno u zaleđe Rafinerije koja se nalazi na samoj obali Dunava. Najgore od svega je činjenica, što se u blizini nalazi i izvorište pijaće vode kojim se snabdeva Novi Sad. Iako još ne postoje direktni izveštaji o eventualnom zagađenju, neosporno je da vodi kao i celokupnom prirodnom okruženju Novog Sada i svih ostalih gradova, preti velika opasnost od direktnog zagađenja naftnim derivatima i ostalim hemijskim materijama. |
Incessant and aggressive bombing of Novi Sad refinery on the left bank of the river Danube has left the city of Novi Sad on the brink of ecological disaster! There are both primary and secondary effects. Primary effects was felt with considerable strength by the citizens of Novi Sad who suffered from respiratory troubles caused by the heavy smoke ominously coverin the entire city immediately after the explosion and the breaking out of the huge fire. Secondary or after-effects are much more dangerous and long term. The bombing of the refinery caused the leak of the poisonous materials and liquids from the reservoirs directly towards the bank of the river Danube. The worst of all is the fact that nearby source of drinking water is the only one for entire Novi Sad. Although there are no exact reports yet about the possible pollution it can not be denied that the water supply as well as the living environment is in grave danger of being polluted by oil products and other chemical materials. |
