Zovem se Marijana Trifunović i imam 2 godine i 10 meseci. Do skoro sam srećno živela sa mamom, tatom i prabakom, ali sam se nedavno teško razbolela i morala sam da ostanem u bolnici. Kažu da sam dobila vrlo retku bolest kaoja se zove Akutna Nelimfoblastna Leukemija i jako sam se uplašila. Naročito kad sam videla mamino i tatino zabrinuto lice. Nikada ih nisam videla tako tužne i zabrinute. Kasnije sam čula da je moja bolest teško izlečiva i da jedini spas doktori vide u presađivanju koštane srži. Da bi se to moglo obaviti potrebno je puno novaca koje moji roditelji nemaju. A dali bi svoje živote za mene kad bi mi to pomoglo. Ali meni treba samo malo dobrovoljnog priloga koji bi pomogao da se obavi ta transplantacija - jedina šansa za mene koja sad postoji. U međuvremenu ja moram da podnesem svakodnevno bockanje, vadjenje krvi, preglede koje strašno ne volim i terapiju koja me vezuje za krevet. Povrh svega toga ne smem da izadjem iz sobe da ne bih dobila još neku zaraznu bolest, jer je otpornost mog organizma prema infekcijama sada mala. Sve ću to nekako podneti uz pomoćmame i tate, samo da dostignem remisiju, stanje u kome nema znakova bolesti. Tek kad sve to prebolim onda ću biti spremna za pripremu transplantacije. Ja ću se boriti, jer je ovaj život vredan toga. Tek sam počela da ga upoznajem i uživam u njemu. On mi još mnogo toga lopog obećava, samo prvo treba da pobedim ovu bolest. Dear Sirs and Madams,
My name is Marijana Trifunovic and I am 2 years and 10 months old. Until recently I lived happily with my mum, my dad and my great grandmother. Recently I got sick and had to remain in hospital. They say I got a rare disease called Acute Nonlymphoblastic Leukemia and I am very much afraid. Especially when I see my parents' worried faces. I have never seen them so sad and worried before. I have heard that my illness is difficult to cure and that the only way to save me is to do bone marrow transplantation. To do that we need to get a lot of money that my parents haven't got. They would give their lives for me if that would help. But I need only some donations which would help the transplantation happen. That is my only chance. In the meantime I go through painful checks and the therapy that keeps me tied to my bed. On top of that I must not leave my room to prevent me from getting an infectious disease as my immunity is very low. I will get through it all with my parents' help. I only need to get into remission, when the illness is retreating. When i am over it then it will be time for transplantation. I am going to fight as this life is worth it.
